Ray DeMoulin’s coaching achievements were in basketball and baseball. Baseball is the sport for whom the Generals diamond is named after. Coach Ray’s teams played in one class and always had to go through Kintner's Reds, Witt's Panthers, Venturi's Bulldogs, the Lakeview Spartans and the county schools, which is why MacArthur doesn't have many regional and sectional titles. His Generals basketball team won 348 games, lost 307 and captured three regional titles in his 25 years of coaching. Ray’s baseball teams also enjoyed considerable success.
