Jerry Curtis wore many hats successfully during his coaching and administration career before retiring from MacArthur in 1988. Jerry was one of the original staff members with Coach Bob Matheson. Jerry was one the first track coaches at MacArthur and one of his many successes was recruiting Coach Bill Harbeck to coach track and field and cross-country. Curtis' legacy is his name, which is engraved in the dugout for his contributions to the Generals softball program. In addition to coaching, Jerry served as an Athletic Director for 17 years.
