As a junior, Jad Mason was named All-County as a football player and earned Macon County Player of the Year. On the football field, Jad connected on 77 of 157 passes for a total of 1, 472 yards and 13 touchdowns his final year as a General, leading MacArthur to an 8-4 record with Decatur’s first playoff appearance. Jad earned a scholarship to play at Purdue but later came back to Decatur to attend Millikin University.
