Crystal Zeigler was an outstanding multi-sport athlete at MacArthur and stayed close to home to continue her academic and athletic careers at Millikin. She was a four year starter for the Lady Generals basketball team and also played volleyball and soccer. As a basketball star at Millikin, Crystal was a CCIW All-Conference First Team selection, the women’s basketball team’s Most Valuable Player, and a team co-captain. Her senior year, Crystal was a leading scorer and averaged 12.6 points and six rebounds per game. Her former college coach, retired Millikin Lori Kerans shared this about Crystal, “Crystal was a legendary high school student athlete; however, it was her work ethic, character, and passion that separated her from others. Crystal is simply one of the the toughest competitors, brightest students, and best teammates to ever suit up for Millikin Women’s Basketball.”
